3 Dawn Consulting has been using Solidworks since 1996. We have developed tools to help us work faster. These tools are all about helping you be more efficient. From installation to production we have tools that are designed to help you move faster! Best of all, these tools are free to new clients! Each of these products can be purchased separately if you are interested.

  • Part, Assembly, Drawing templates that maximize Solidworks features
    •
  • Material database - an extension of the existing Solidworks material database. Over 100 additional materials that are commonly used!

    • During Design:
  • Material Selection Wizard (customize it for your company's standard materials). Add a description of each material and select from finishes specific to each material.
  • Part Number selection wizard. Link to a common Part Number database and get the next part number available.
  • Set Document Properties wizard - An assistant to help you fill in all necessary information. Works on parts (fabricated parts, sheet metal, etc), assemblies, and drawings.
  • Toggle part as Toolbox part (new for 2005!)
  • Plus a ton of extra macros!

    •  Release Process:
  • Export Wizard - from an assembly export parts as individual parts in multiple format. Ideal for companies that send out work to external companies for fabrication. You can also filter out parts that you don't want exported.
  • Print Wizard - similar to the export wizard except you can choose what type of drawings are printed (Part drawings only, Assembly drawings only, or both)

    $1450 US for a site license for all EfficiencyWorks products. That is a 20% savings. Also, we will help you with your deployment at no cost!
